Embroidery Magazines

I was all delighted when I recieved wonderful embroidery magazines from my blogger friend Gina from Australia last saturday. She is always so generous. The magazines are having wonderful articles, tutes and designs. I like them all and use those designs someday. But waht I feel sorry for the fact that the postal charges cost more than the magazines for Gina but she never mind as I like them. But still Im ..Thanks a lott Gina.

Many friends asking me what is my current project..:)..I am doing one project for special purpose and I have to work about 6 metres and I have done only 1 metre as I was run short of the threads and due to strikes in Andhra it keep on delaying.

French knots

This is how I make french knots. By this stitch you can make pistil stitch, And also you can use this stitch to stich chamkis(sequins). Hope you got the stitch..

Thanks to my daughter Ananya who helped me to take all the three videos. since we both are not good in this field ittook a lot of time. We did so many trials to get the results but had a good time teasing, giggling and laughing. :)

Lavangam work/pistil stitch/tailed french knots

Peacock

Hi friends,
I have mentioned about Gina in my previous posts who is passionate about embroidered peacocks . when I was searching for ideas to embroider a peacock I came across Gina's peacock collection and thus we came to know each other.Since then I have in my mind to embroider one peacock for her. She sent me some beautiful linens which i enjoyed stiching. I send her peacock as a christmas gift and she liked it a lot. And she has send some embroidery magazines. I really love any books related to embroidery and im eagerly awaiting for those magazines. :)..Thank you Gina!!
